AcuVu Medical and Hologic have entered into an exclusive distribution agreement, and through this partnership, Hologic will become the exclusive distributor for AcuVu Medical's single-use hysteroscope system in the United States.

The HTx Single-Use Scope System is a leading product in the global single-use hysteroscopy market and has been used by numerous renowned hospitals and clinics for outpatient hysteroscopy. The HTx40 model hysteroscope has an outer diameter of 4.5mm, allowing for straightforward outpatient surgeries and may reduce the need for a speculum, dilation, or anesthesia. The HTx40 hysteroscope is a great option for diagnostic or operative hysteroscopy and is compatible with 5Fr instrumentation. Additionally, the HTx60s hysteroscope, with an outer diameter of 6.2mm, is designed for operative hysteroscopy and is compatible with instruments, including cold knives, tissue removal devices, and small energy devices.

The HTx Single-Use Scope system will be compatible with MyoSure^® Manual, Lite, and Reach devices. This collaboration will open up opportunities for patients to receive a diagnosis and treatment, all during the same outpatient visit.
